Argentine-British artist filmmaker, Jessica Sarah Rinland (1987) is a recipient of numerous awards including Special Mention at Locarno Film Festival for Those that, at a Distance, Resemble Another (2019), Best Film at Documenta Madrid for Collective Monologue (2024), and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Schnitzer prize for excellence in the arts. She has had retrospectives of her films at Flaherty Film Seminar, Anthology Film Archives, Open City Documentary Film Festival, among others. Her most recent solo exhibition was at Tabakalera, San Sebastian, Spain. Her films are held in the British Film Institute’s collections.
