The DocumentaMadrid Film Festival will be incorporating the Filmin Award into its 16th edition, which will give one of the feature films in the National Competitive Section consulting and support from the Filmin team during its premiere on the platform. "We are greatly honored to be tightening our collaboration with DocumentaMadrid through the Award granted at its next edition. The Award is meant to help one of the submitted films reach a wider audience since the visibility of documentary film is one of the major challenges for both our platform and DocumentaMadrid," says Filmin's co-founder and editorial director Jaume Ripoll.

This new award is to be added to the over 52,500 total euros already granted by the festival across its competitive feature film and short film programming.
