Vucca is a portrait of a cave in southern Italy (Vucca de lu puzzu), a place out of which life could have sprung, a cave where alluvial deposits and sea waters connect in an inner lake, a place where ancient life could have started. In some ways, Vucca exemplifies a certain archetype of cave that connects with our most ancestral memories and instincts.
