The Garden of Forgotten Snow is a film about artist Nilima Sheikh's art practice and her engagement with the beautiful and troubled land of Kashmir. Her work traverses many layers of art history and scholarship on Kashmir, as well as the memory of a land that is historically torn by strife. The film comes out of a long period of engagement between the artist and filmmaker Avijit Mukul Kishore.
