A young Argentinian man enquires into his family’s inheritance. His grandfather was a former Francoist soldier during the Spanish Civil War. His father kept silence. The director decides to trace his way back into the past, travels to Spain and ties up loose ends. Meeting other relatives, wondering, in search of complex honesty in this scripture on post-memory. A documentary producer and director, he has taken part in and led projects in Argentina and Spain (INCAA, TDA, Canal Encuentro, Barcelona TV, TV3, CNT-Barcelona, Albatros Media, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, among others). As an independent filmmaker, he has had a dozen short films at international exhibitions and festivals (Salmón, Mañicos, Encuentro Imaginario, Traslasierra, Cara al Sol, Hijos del Pueblo, among others).
He produced and directed the feature films El Hijo del Cazador, along with Germán Scelso (2018, IDFA, Bertha Fund, INCAA) recently premiered at the Mar del Plata Film Festival; and Apuntes para una herencia (2018, Incaa, Antofacine).
