She created Inicia Films in 2006. She has produced documentaries and fiction, both shorts and features. Valérie’s latest projects have been Summer 1993 by Carla Simón, chosen to represent Spain at the 2018 Oscars and The Disinherited by Laura Ferrés, awarded at the 2017 Semaine de la Critique at Cannes. At the moment, she is developing Pilar Palomero's first fiction feature Las niñas, David Ilundaín's project Uno para todos and the documentary La Flota de Indias by Antonio P. Molero.
