Sauf le passé

Sanaz Azari was born in Isfahan (Iran) in 1981. She grew up and lives in Brussels where, after studying photography, she went on to study set design at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre. At the same time as her studies, she took intensive drama classes for three years using the Stanislavski method. In 2010 she wrote and directed her first documentary, Salaam Isfahan, followed by I comme Iran and Backstage action (original title: Faites sortir les figurants).
