Like Moths to Light explores this loss through archives, research into brain-reading and new technologies that threaten to make our inner lives legible. Gala Hernández López is an artist, filmmaker and researcher. Her work critically analyzes new modes of subjectivation produced by computational capitalism and has been presented at international festivals and institutions such as Cannes, Berlinale, Rotterdam, IDFA, DOK Leipzig, Cinéma du Réel, SEMINCI, Sarajevo, Vancouver, IndieLisboa, Berlinische Galerie, Palais de Tokyo, Punto de Vista, Dokufest, transmediale, FRAC Île-de-France, and Curtas Vila do Conde, among others. Her film La Mécanique des fluides won the César for Best Documentary Short Film in 2024.
