Synopsis

Memorias del exilio revisits the story of a judge forced into hiding to save her life, but doing so from an intimate and thoughtful perspective. Manuel Correa lingers on the scars left by violence, on what continues to tremble in its wake, and on all that never quite takes shape. The film accompanies that wounded memory without forcing it, leaving room for what still cannot be fully explained in words. (FDM)
