Synopsis

There are desires that are still waiting to be fulfilled. Las termas looks fondly upon Evangelina and at an old age shaped by frailty, humour and the desire to keep on living. Together with her brother Luis, she sets off on a journey filled with warm baths, prayers and little arguments that encapsulate a lifetime spent together. Along the way, the film discovers the tenderness of a rough yet endearing bond, where irritation and affection coexist, and where staying together is also a way of sustaining life. (FDM)

Armin Marcheisini Weihmuler

Armin Marchesini Weihmuller nació en Argentina en 1989. Estudió la Licenciatura en Artes Audiovisuales en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA). Se desempeña como director de fotografía en cine y series en Argentina y Latinoamérica. Ha trabajado con directores como Clarisa Navas, Pablo Agüero, Manuel Abramovich, Mariano Pensotti, Toia Bonino, Matías Scarvaci, entre otros. Las películas en las que trabajó fueron estrenadas y premiadas en festivales internacionales como Berlinale, San Sebastian, Visions du réel, entre otros.
En 2020 recibió el premio Icon Films Emerging Talent en Wildscreen Festival por la serie documental Clorofilia. En 2021 estuvo nominado a mejor dirección de fotografía por Las Mil y Una de Clarisa Navas en los Cóndor de Plata, Argentina.
