Krakatoa

No one can remember the sound of a volcanic eruption. And perhaps the only way to approach it is through reconstruction — that is, a path that moves between the reality of inexact memory and what is recreated with the freedom of creation. That’s where this film is situated: as a sensory reconstruction, a journey through the incomprehensible. But who said that the senses don’t provide knowledge? In this film, climate awareness and environmental sensitivity, together with an almost anthropological respect, trace a path that moves simultaneously through utopia and truth — the only truth, that of memory and the senses.
