A samurai is travelling upstream through foreign territory. At the same time, two Japanese women explore, through improvisation, the blurred line between sound and noise. Blending performance, landscape and sound experimentation, Río creates an experience of estrangement and attentiveness, where movement becomes attention and listening a way of inhabiting the unknown.
