With 20 years of experience in the audiovisual sector, Iris Martín-Peralta has been directing La Nueva Ola - Spanish and Latin American Film Festival of Italy since its inception in 2008. She also leads EXIT Media, a company which specialises in the distribution of Ibero-American cinema in Italy. A journalist by training, she has served as executive producer on films such as Upon Entry by Juan S. Vasquez and Alejandro Rojas, Molt lluny – Muy lejos by Gerard Oms and Lejos de los árboles by Meritxell Colell (currently in post-production). She has worked on international and television productions as a line producer, and she teaches at various European film schools.
