ADVANCE REGISTRATION HERE until May the 13th

Bruno Patiño will announce the editorial line for the Arte TV channel at a professional meeting with documentary film producers and creators. Arte, one of the most important culture-oriented media outlets in Europe, will be taking part in this professional meeting at the DocumentaMadrid Festival thanks to the collaboration of the Institut Français of Madrid.

During his talk, Patiño will announce the types of audiovisual content and formats backed by the channel. In addition, he will explain what the usual design of its productions looks like, the degree of creative freedom it provides to directors and producers, as well as sources of documentary funding in Europe. He will also discuss the current state of non-fiction production in Europe and the responsibility of the states in creating and disseminating this type of content.

Arte aides, with support from the European Union, in promoting multilingualism and the circulation of cultural works throughout Europe, and has been available in Spain since 2015 on the ARTE en español website.

Bruno Patiño is editorial director of ARTE and director of the journalism school at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris. He has developed his entire career in media and journalism.
