Parallel activities DocumentaMadrid 2018

"Sound is the co-star of any film, but if you don't know how to work with it, you lose an ally and gain an enemy".  It is with this statement in mind that DocumentaMadrid and DRAX audio have invited audiovisual professionals from the sector to take part in another one of the parallel activities at the 16th edition. "How to do good sound and not die trying" will be the challenge discussed at the round table on Monday May 13 at 12:00 noon in the Plató Room of the Cineteca Madrid. This highly-practical activity will feature the sound technician Carlos de Hita, Daniel Rodrigo de Hitos (Head of sound at La Caña Brothers) and Charly Schmukler (Sound Mixer and Sound Supervisor) with Javier Vacas, a consultant specializing in the audiovisual sector and general director of assetMedia, as the moderator.

The professional meeting will reveal the keys to ensuring quality sound in audiovisual works and will give an overview of the challenges and difficulties that often arise during filming and postproduction. Participation in this round table, the result of the collaboration of DocumentaMadrid and the recording studio DRAX audio, will be free of charge, with prior registration.
