Using her own footage, the filmmaker seeks to remake not just the identity broken by the illness suffered by her grandmother, but also her own as an extension of the first. Trapped inside the walls of her home, in what is revealed as a vital and existential confinement, her dog will be her only vehicle for connecting with the outside world. (JY)
