"This short film tells of the resistance to the regime in the city of Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo León, on several different fronts: a group of independent unionists who burst into the official parade on 20 November, attended by governor Luis M. Farías; the invasion of lands and the presence of neighborhood organizations in Topo Chico; the deaths from a work-related accident in Fundidora Monterrey; the strikes of CTM workers and CROC bakers (two powerful official unions), and the grassroots activity of the “Grupo 2 de Octubre” in the Díaz Ordaz neighborhood" (Álvaro Vázquez Mantecón, 2012).
