María del Puy Alvarado is the producer and founder of Malvalanda, an audiovisual production company. With over 17 years of experience, Malvalanda has been nominated twice for Oscar Awards and six for Goya Awards, picking up the 2017 Award for Best Live Action Short Film for Rodrigo Sorogoyen's Mother. Her most recent work includes Maite Alberdi's The Mole Agent and Carlos Saura's last film, Walls Can Talk.
