XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
Unwanted light when developing film causes damage, distorting its colors and contours, thus distancing the images from their ties to the real world. So do traumas: they overexpose the body and mind, distorting them and stretching their definition. Sensitive material deals with issues of childhood trauma using sound recordings captured on accident and randomly filmed moments of happiness. About pain, wounds, and maturity, the film overexposes memories in order to find the path to forgiveness. (CB)
