La mala familia

BRBR are a visual and acoustic creators collective, with a background in cinema, arts and the social sciences.

We aim to push the limits between contemporary visual culture and documenting reality. Our work has been screened in film festivals and museums, and it ranges from feature films to music videos.

Our team is based in Madrid and London, and we work globally.

Our film work has been screened, among others, at FICUNAM, Loop Barcelona, Festival de Málaga, SEMINCI, Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, EYE Film Museum Amsterdam, Centro Arte 2 de Mayo, Alcine, Berlin Music Video Awards, Ars Independent Katowice, GAM Santiago de Chile or Canadian Centre for Architecture.

In 2019 we premiered in Cannes our commercial work Heroes de hoy, winning 1 gold and 3 silver, plus 10 shortlists. We also got into prestigieuse Saatchi&Saatchi New Creators Showcase. That same year, we were awarded Best Iberoamerican Director, and we won metal in El Sol, CdeC, Ciclope, LIAA Awards, Young Directors Award or Shots, among others.
