Synopsis

Which future are we in?" asks one of the girls starring in the new short film by the filmmaker and actress María Alché, who we all remember as the Holy Girl in Lucrecia Martel's film of the same name. Filmed during the lockdown and shifting seamlessly between science fiction, family documentary, and string theory and parallel universes, Después del silencio films the day-to-day lives of a group of children who seem to have been left to their own devices. Which future are we in now? (GDP)
