“I return once more to these corridors filled with ghosts” murmurs the film-maker, as he is also turned into another spectre condemned to wander through the images of his unfinished film. As if trapped in a labyrinth, he roams through the fields and corridors of an old school converted into housing. The film-maker was banned from filming the place after it changed. Years later he decides to remake The Project.

Director's Biography

He holds a degree in the speciality of Documentary Direction from EICTV. With Chrysalis he obtained the prize for Best Documentary Short at the Oaxaca Festival and Best Documentary Short Award at the New York City Short Film Festival. Velas won the Best Documentary Award at the 13th ICAIC Muestra Joven. Escaleras del Cielo obtained Third Prize at the 4th FINI. La Despedida had its international premiere at IDFA, also winning Best Film in the Aciertos category at FICUNAM, as well as the Full Frame President Award, Jury Special Mention at the 44th Sehsüchte, plus Best Documentary at the Gibara Festival. Duelo had its global debut at Cinéma du Réel, and The Project will be screened for the first time at Visions du Réel. He is currently developing Resurrection, his second full-length film.
