El Pacto de Adriana

(Adriana's Pact)

Lissette Orozco
96' / 2017 / Chile

When I was a little girl I had an idol: my Aunty Adriana. In 2007 she was arrested and I found out that in her youth she worked for the DINA, the secret police during the Pinochet dictatorship. Sometime later, when democracy returned, she fled the country while on trial for the murder of an important communist leader. Today my Aunty is living in a nightmare. Chilean residents in Australia are demanding her extradition and demonstrating against her.
