Synopsis

Always insightful and ever-changing, Éric Baudelaire proposes in his new work a triptych of stories that date back to the period of revolutionary struggle of the 1960s and 70s in Italy and the United States. This work, with its prodigious sound design and notably collaborative approach, pairs the kidnapping of Aldo Moro in Rome by the Red Brigades with the sound experiments of Alvin Curran, keeping the presence of the author to a minimum. Between fragments of works such as Zabriskie Point (Antonioni, 1970) and Super 8 footage, this beautifully-titled film is a new take on the visual and musical essay by an artist with a tireless commitment to politics and aesthetics.
