XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
A series of concerts filmed in Super-8 by Gonzalo García-Pelayo at the famous Dom Gonzalo nightclub, named after the “holy right to have fun” of the Latin teacher, Gonzalo de Berceo. The club would become a sanctum of the counterculture, but also of the government to come, as marked by the presence of the young Felipe González and Alfonso Guerra.
Gonzalo García-Pelayo (Madrid, 1947) is one of the fundamental cult authors of Spanish cinema. Responsible for dozens of films from 1968 to the present day, including titles such as Manuela (1975) and Vivir en Sevilla (1978), all his work is characterized by its vitalism, transgression and insubordination.
