Synopsis

The pilgrimage from Triana to Rocío, the burning and fervent atmosphere of the journey. Two siblings, Rocío and José, one entering adolescence and the other about to reach adulthood, set out on the road alone for the first time. A mystical and poetic vision of the ritual pilgrimage linked to the landscape, the land and a feeling of love close to the ideal between the aesthetic and the ethical.

Gonzalo García-Pelayo

Gonzalo García-Pelayo (Madrid, 1947) is one of the fundamental cult authors of Spanish cinema. Responsible for dozens of films from 1968 to the present day, including titles such as Manuela (1975) and Vivir en Sevilla (1978), all his work is characterized by its vitalism, transgression and insubordination.
