Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania

In three parts, Jonas Mekas shows how he and his brother Adolfas dealt with the transition from Lithuania to the United States. In the first part, the two are shown during the 1950s in Brooklyn, amongst the Lithuanian community. The second part records their journey to their country of origin, where the whole family celebrates their return. Finally, the film ends in Vienna, where some of Jonas' best friends appear: Peter Kubelka, Ken Jacobs and Hermann Nitsch.
