Synopsis

García-Pelayo's first feature film shares the impulse that led the surrealists to show the Papin sisters, who murdered the bourgeois family they worked for and then had a lesbian relationship. Manuela inhabits the space of taboo and transgression in the class struggle between peasants and landowners in Andalusia.
