Born in Santiago de Chile, she grew up in Madrid, where she discovered cinema as an art assistant in the 1980s. She then went on to study History of Art at the Sorbonne in Paris, while exploring the craft of filmmaking on French and Spanish film shoots. In 1996, she founded Paraiso Production Diffusion, with the aim of accompanying and promoting bold and unique directors, building bridges between cultures and countries. To date, she has produced twenty feature films and more than thirty shorts, including Manuel Nieto's El Empleado y el patrón (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, Cannes, 2021), Meritxell Colell's Con el viento (Forum, Berlinale, 2018), Ado Arrietta's Belle Dormant (Rotterdam, 2017, nominated for the Louis Delluc Award in France) and Andrés Wood's Machuca (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, Cannes, 2004). She is currently developing En la alcoba del sultán, Javier Rebollo's new feature film, about to be filmed in Morocco this year.
