Since 1990 he has developed a body of work that includes paintings, photographs, video installations and artist's books. His work handles the relationship between memory and culture as builders of identity. In cinema, he co-wrote and directed El visitante (1999), Mika mi guerra de España (2013), La sombra (2015) and La extraña. Notas sobre el (auto) exilio (2018). His films, mostly audiovisual essays, have been screened at international festivals and exhibitions (MoMA, New York; Viennale, Vienna; BAFICI, Buenos Aires, among others). His audiovisual work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Argentina (MALBA, Museo de Arte Moderno, Centro Cultural Recoleta, among others), Brazil (Museu da Imagen e o Som), Germany (Museum Ludwig), France (Gallerie Zola) and Spain (Tabakalera), among others. He has extensive experience in the field of teaching, both in Latin America and Spain.
