Since 2005 film programmer at the Cinemateca Uruguaya and since 2009 director of the International Film Festival of Uruguay organized by Cinemateca Uruguaya, which celebrated its 43rd edition in April. In 2013, she created the Festival de Cine a Pedal, a festival that uses energy generated from spectators pedaling bicycles to power the screenings. In Uruguay, she was also the programming director of the Punta del Este Film Festival and the Llamale H Festival while in Spain she is a film programmer for the Cineuropa Festival in Santiago de Compostela. She has served on the jury at several international film festivals and development funds. She is a translator and teacher and, as a cultural journalist and film critic, she contributes to a variety of media, especially the Uruguayan newspaper La diaria and the weekly Brecha.
