XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
As Pliny told us, the origin of painting lies in a young woman who uses a brush to trace onto a wall the shadow of her beloved, who must leave for battle. That shadow is the ghost of his presence. Cinema is also an art of shadows and silhouettes, of nostalgic losses and eternal presences. This is a self-portrait of the artist with her shadow while playing with her camera at home. A memory, perhaps as well, of playful youth escaping through time. (CG)
