Kikol Grau reflects on the staying power of wounds and the unstructured memory of a country. He does so in a way that entails a strange balancing act between the punk and the solemn, between the classical and thuggery. The past will teach us nothing if it does not allow us to laugh, just as the future will not be flattering if we have not allowed ourselves to slip up at some point. This film shows us that the past is but one, while viewpoints are many. And for that very reason, we should be unafraid to look back, because if we don’t like what we see, we can always free ourselves with an outburst. (LEP)
