Raul records his routine on the high seas on a mini VHS. It is 1991. On board his first ship, the Raul Primero, he records what words fail to convey. On land, their son, Adrian, has just been born. Thirty years later, Adrian sets sail for the Gran Sol, guided by those old recordings his father made among the nets, storms and early mornings. In the solitude of the boat, the motor vibrating in his chest and the wind hitting the deck, he tries to understand the distance that separated them. Recording his own journey between memories and motion, he finds a way to get closer, as if by filming he could tell his father what he never dared to say. (FDM)
