Noa, a transgender Roma woman released from prison after ten years, sets the goal of regaining custody of her children. But the world on the outside makes demands she cannot meet. Homeless, on no solid footing, she squats in an apartment that she will soon be evicted from. Time is running out and the red tape is overwhelming. At her side, her cousin Mary Karmen, an intersex Roma and activist. Nani, a pickpocket with quick hands and slow wounds. Luana, a Portuguese singer with no stage, no roof. Women on the margins, invisible to the system but never to each other. On the edges of oblivion, they sustain themselves on what they’ve got, loads of art and humor. The film features an ensemble cast in a portrait of survival. The story of people who, despite everything, continue dancing, loving and dreaming of a place in the world. (FDM)
