In the middle of the conservative city of Córdoba (Argentina) in the late 80s, the Grupo Kalas, made up of transvestites and drag queens, is getting ready around a stage. Following one genocide, the dictatorship's, comes another: the AIDS crisis and the retroviral drugs that never make it beyond the capital city. "So let's pretend that he is La Gallega" says its narrator La Delpi, and thus does this essay take shape, combining archive with shot footage, desired and dreamed images that revive the stolen past of an infinite friendship. They might just make it into a possibility for the future. (LS)

Agustina Comedi (1986) Córdoba, Argentina. Screenwriter and Filmmaker. She studied Modern Literature. In 2017 her first film "Silence is a Falling Body" was premiered at IDFA. The film was multi-awarded and selected in more than 50 international festivals. Nowadays she's writing her second feature.
