Synopsis

A large group of people carry out mysterious tasks at night on a beach before the ever-imposing sea. Dragging things. Tiredness. Dampness, nets and tractors. Snippets of conversations in Portuguese. But for a few flashes of light and a splash of color, darkness fully engulfs their space, a fascinating quagmire of fumbling chores. The camera of filmmaker and photographer Elisa Celda gets turned to this dark and unstructured territory, exploring the vivid sensations of the beings interacting in it. (MMF)
