The eyes of the world fall onto a collection of rocks. Two people working in an archive that stores rocks from fallen and toppled monuments. Their accompanying documents lie on the table: photos of how they once looked and how they came to fall. For a moment, we enter the dream world. Ojos / Ojos / Ojos / Ojos brings the most material of historical documents together with the legend of Prometheus. Could it be that history is but a series of condemnations and self-forgetting? As Kafka says in the story upon which this film is based: There remained the inexplicable mass of rock. (LS)
