Andreia wants to move out. Leid is waiting for her husband, who is in prison. They are neighbors in a poor suburban slum of Belo Horizonte, trying to escape the daily dangers of a drug trafficking war being waged outside and to avoid the tragedy that comes with the rain.

Juliana Antunes
Born in 1989, she graduated in Filmmaking from UNA university in Belo Horizonte. Juliana is, along with Marcella Jacques and Laura Godoy, a founding partner at VENTURA. Juliana debuted as film director with her feature film Baronesa, which was awarded Best Picture at the 2017 Tiradentes Film Festival where it made its world premiere, followed by its international premiere at the 28th FIDMarseille, in France, where earned 3 awards, including the Audience Award. She is currently finishing her short films Control Plan and Industrial while also developing her second feature film, Hit and Back Copacabana.
