DocumentaMadrid announces some of the films to be included in its National and International Competitive Section, including the latest works of Johan Grimonprez, Jean-Gabriel Périot and Carolina Astudillo.

From May 4th through 6th will take place the seminar "Pedagogical practices in the creative process, ways of passing on the art of filmmaking", which will bring together such international specialists as French film critic Alain Bergala and documentary filmmaker Vincent Carelli.

From March 22 to 25, DocumentaMadrid and the Cineteca Madrid are paying tribute to the director Eugenio Polgovsky with a special program of the young Mexican filmmaker's work following his death last August.

DocumentaMadrid is turning 15 and revamping its image. The main poster is composed of four photo series selected from the 500 received at the contest #DocumentaTuMadrid.

I Ed. of the Professional Documentary Filmmaking Forum will give support to documentary films that are produced in Spain.
