She studied Film at the Universidad Nacional del Colombia. She has in recent years led the internationalization of Colombian filmmaking. As a producer, she has made films such as Los viajes del viento, by Ciro Guerra; El vuelco del cangrejo, by Óscar Ruiz; La playa, by Juan Andrés Arango; La Sirga, by William Vega; Los hongos, by Óscar Ruiz; Violencia, by Jorge Forero and La tierra y la sombra, by César Acevedo. Through her company Burning Blue, she has co-produced films such as Los mejores temas, by Nicolás Pereda; Refugiado, by Diego Lerman and Climas by Enrica Pérez. Since 2012 she has taken part in the International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias (FICCI), where she has been artistic director since 2014 to 2018. She has served on juries and been adviser to various international funds and festivals such as IDFA, Sarajevo, Bafici, among others.
