When watching Morgan Quaintance’s filmography you can easily notice the amount of different techniques, formats and textures used in his films. Whether it’s a video or a photo, analog or digital, 16mm or DV tape; or even found footage: everything is mixed, and not only from one piece to another but in its internal structures too. With Quaintance we discover movies that soon morph from hand-held camera to archival collage. A filmography started in 2018 and yet since in a non-stop of fresh new pieces that highlight for being done almost entirely by Morgan himself in all processes.
