Synopsis
Dream of Another Summer tells the story of a woman and a city in collapse, to explore how the spaces we inhabit affect us and reflect on the mortality and survival of a city.
Director biography
Irene Bartolomé
Barcelona-born filmmaker currently living in Beirut. She has studied editing, creative documentary and film theory in Madrid, Barcelona, New York and London. She has directed the short film Lunch time (2017) and with visual artist Tessa Rex, The Williamsburg Houses (2016). Both short films explore different aspects of urbanism in Cairo and New York, respectively. Bartolomé has been working as an editor on documentary productions for the past ten years.
