Description
This film combines fragments from Vivian Barrett's diary with footage shot by Léon Barrett between the 1940s and 1960s. It is a fake documentary, though parts of what appears and is told is actually true.
Biography of the director
Nuria Giménez
Born in 1976 in Barcelona, she studied Journalism, International Relations and Documentary Directing. She has lived in Berlin, Paris and London. She has held all kinds of jobs, from press and radio correspondent to nurse and an extra in horror films, in addition to having been a teacher, flight attendant, editor, book translator, press analyst, corporate video maker, event producer and many others. Kafeneio, her first short documentary, was selected to DocumentaMadrid 2017 and MIDBO 2017.
