Buddha Dev is a famous young cricketer from India who has agreed to star in a documentary. The character decides on how to appear on camera and even shows the most private and eccentric aspects of a daily life that also unfolds on social media. The approach taken to both the real and virtual worlds reveals an egomaniac with multiple personality. (LGV)

Kabir Mehta
Always a devoted cinephile, Kabir was encouraged to pursue filmmaking professionally after unexpectedly winning a filmmaking competition organised by Delhi University while he was studying Economics. An encounter with the director Ashim Ahluwalia led Kabir to Mumbai, where he worked with the filmmaker on feature films as well as groundbreaking avant-garde cinema.
Kabir Mehta has since gone on to produce and direct his own work under his company Meta Motion Pictures. His docu-fiction film entitled Sadhu in Bombay premiered at the 29th European Media Art Festival where it won the ‘EMAF Award’ for best film. The film made its North American premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival and subsequently won the award for Best Narrative Film at the 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival.
Kabir’s first feature length project BUDDHA.mov, made its world premiere at the 2017 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
