The year 1994. An 18-year-old boy goes on multiple TV showsto tell the story of how his father has been imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit. The nightmare began in Ibi (Alicante), when the Civil Guard found the body of an old woman, his neighbour. Vicente's father is sentenced to almost thirty years in prison. When his father is released, Vicente recovers the videotapes he started filming when his father was sentenced and gains access to the case file: he has decided to re-appropriate the story and finally give his father the chance to have his voice heard.
Abel García Roure is a filmmaker. Career highlights include work in José Luis Guerín’s En construcción, Isaki Lacuesta’s La leyenda del tiempo and Mercedes Álvarez’s El cielo gira. In 2009, he released Una cierta verdad at the Seminci film festival in Valladolid, San Sebastian and Rotterdam. He is the creator and executive producer of the series La línea invisible (2020) produced by Movistar+.
