Piege

A surrealist film based on a nightmare. Arsène, a lonely and nervous young man terrified by thoughts of persecution, tries to protect himself from thieves (and from himself) by setting traps in his house. He looks on helplessly as his home gets robbed and looted by a couple of kleptomaniac girls that he has brought into his home deliberately. Fascinated by them, during the night he becomes his own executioner and plaything of destructive childhood fantasies. This is how the trap salesman’s prediction regarding his "fear of being robbed" ends up coming true.
