XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
A neighborhood story occurring during the pandemic inspired this crucial reflection on how violence becomes more widespread due to the far-reaching effects of hatred as a social construct and how it relates to imagery and its representation. By making us look at the way the hate that we live with gets shaped by the images we see, like the assault on Rodney King, George Floyd, and two immigrant women in Madrid and in the Barcelona subway, this audacious, performative and sensorial work offers a variety of languages for representing, thinking about and interpreting the textures of the hate that surrounds us and the emotions it produces.
