Synopsis

Filmmaker Ander Iriarte suspects his father was tortured in prison, which is what prompted him to take part in the Basque Government's Project on Torture, as part of its Peace and Coexistence Plan. The documentary follows a group people who were tortured as psychologists, psychiatrists and lawyers take their testimony according to the Istanbul Protocols to determine their veracity. In this highly interesting and sober investigation on torture at the hands of the State Security Forces, many pending and necessary questions get addressed. (RS)
