Different voices from various regions of Peru are present in this film. Each one talks about different types of violence that have happened in the over 200 years of our history as a Nation. The bicentennial, an institutional commemoration, implies a buried memory that, from the sidelines, tells of a political resistance. (KS)

The Silencio Collective is made up of young artists and activists who come from and work in different cities of Peru. The joint work arose from discussions on political cinema, enriched by the diversity of identity and territory of each one of them.
